TIM MILLS

During Tim’s Curacy he felt there was often a disconnect between the children and the adults as they sought to ‘Journey with Jesus’ Tim began to introduce ‘upfronts’ into the services as an opportunity for intergenerational times
of worship.The ‘Upfront’ lasted 3-5 minutes with a simple theme/message, often seeking to bring alive the Bible passage chosen for the service
Tim moved as Vicar to the Ticehurst Benefice and then the Peacehaven Benefice bringing Upfronts to the
services and developing a team of people who led them.

Chloe found her passion for kids
ministry back in 2016 when she began volunteering as part of the kids team at her local church. Chloe has a degree in Childhood and Family studies and a MSc in Child and Adolescent Mental Wellbeing, as well as several years experience leading the kids ministries across several churches in both voluntary and paid roles. Chloe is passionate about intergenerational worship and seeing children exploring faith and growing in their relationship with Jesus. Alongside being a founder of Journey with Jesus, Chloe works as a Children and Families Worker for a church.

Hiya, I’m Holly, here’s a little background about me and how I became a part of the team here at Journey with Jesus.
I met Chloe while studying at Norwich University of the Arts, in 2022, soon after joining the local church, but it was in my second year, when we really connected and discovered a shared passion for spreading the word of God’s love.
My faith truly started at Newday in 2022 when I saw friends, who were originally scared to step foot on the campsite, give their life to Christ. With a background in Graphic Design, I really wanted to be able to show this power of the holy spirit through supporting faith-based projects, helping bring others’ visions to life. This began with branding Journey with Jesus. Since graduating, I’ve returned to my home church and also started to serve in youth ministry, leading Bible studies, mentoring young people, with a focus on developing fun, faith-filled resources for the next generation.
